Based in Burnaby, BC, the company has grown from a small team to over 40 employees, operating out of a 5,000 square foot warehouse and office facility. Bridgewater specializes in High-End Residential, Multi-Family, and Commercial developments and is known for its superior quality and professionalism.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Ceramic Tile and Flooring Installation Superintendent at Bridgewater Tile Ltd. The superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of ceramic tile and flooring installations. This includes coordinating and supervising the work of tile setters, ensuring quality and timely completion of projects, and maintaining a safe working environment. The superintendent will also collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidate should possess expertise in Ceramic, Hardwood, and Flooring installation.
- Experience in managing and supervising tile setting and flooring installation projects.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in High-End Residential, Multi-Family, or Commercial developments is a plus.
- Any relevant certifications or training in tile and flooring installation would be beneficial.
