Industry Advisory Council (IAC) – Volunteer Position Help Shape the Future of New Home Construction Are you a builder passionate about Ontario's new home building industry and eager to make a meaningful impact? Join the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) Industry Advisory Council (IAC). Your Role and Impact The IAC plays a vital role in providing independent, non-partisan advice to the HCRA's Board of Directors on emerging issues in the new home construction sector. As a member, you'll help support a continuously improving homebuilding industry and strengthen confidence in Ontario's new home marketplace. Why Join? Strengthen the homebuilding industry: Offer advice to enhance industry awareness and engagement, and contribute ideas that improve service delivery, policies, and procedures across the sector. Connect and collaborate: Share the perspectives of builders and professionals from across the province while collaborating with a diverse group of respected peers representing Ontario's home construction industry. Who We're Looking For Experience in small, medium, large, or high‑rise building operations Custom home building Supervising day‑to‑day construction Overseeing customer service for licensed builders We welcome applicants who reflect Ontario's geographic and professional diversity. Members are expected to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a strong interest in supporting HCRA's mandate in upholding consumer protection.
