We are looking to hire a proactive Business Analyst specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC). Your expertise will be vital in successfully implementing BC and ensuring a smooth go-live later this year. This hands-on role demands a thorough understanding of BC's core modules. You will also review vendor work, minimise unnecessary customisations, and guide the business through the implementation.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted on-site resource during the BC implementation, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to establish efficient reporting processes.
  • Advocate for utilising core BC functionality without excessive customisation, prioritising out-of-the-box solutions and streamlined processes.
  • Review vendors work during implementation for alignment with business needs.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and vendors, ensuring the implementation follows the set business requirements.
  • Configure BC role centers and permission sets for secure and efficient system access.
  • Enhance system functionality using carefully controlled and documented extensions.
  • Create detailed documentation, including workflow diagrams and training guides, supporting implementation.
  • Conduct training for end-users to ensure proper system use and adoption.


What you bring:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central core modules like Financial Management (e.g. Payables/Receivables), Inventory, and Security/Permission Sets.
  • Experience with Microsoft Products & Integrations such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), and Third-Party Integrations like Financial Reporting tools (e.g., Solver), PopDocs, Workato, Expense Tracking tools (e.g., Continia) and UKG
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Strong ability to validate vendor work with a clear drive to align with business processes while avoiding redundant customising.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience working cross-functionally with finance and IT departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively while working directly with stakeholders to achieve business goals.
