Inside Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a five‑person inside sales/order desk team within a busy lighting and electrical distribution company. You will provide leadership, hands‑on support, and technical expertise to drive performance, streamline communication, and strengthen the bridge between inside and outside sales. This position includes a salary of $90,000–$110,000. Company and Culture Our client is a proud Canadian distributor of quality lighting & electrical products, founded in 1989. The company has a single location and is smaller and known for its customer service, striving to exceed customer expectations, and bring ongoing value to their customers Office Location Office location: Mississauga, ON The Product / Service Lighting and Electrical Products Cost‑Effective and Custom Energy Saving Solutions Industrial Safety Supplies Prospective Customers Government Industrial and Commercial Operations Retailers Contractors Property Managers Manufacturing Facilities Offices Product Value and Sales Cycle Average order ranges from $350 to $500,000 Sales cycles range from immediate to 2 years Typical Days and Duties 20% – Hands‑on (counter/customer support, calls, or training) 20–30% – Coaching and supervising order desk staff 20% – Process improvement and streamlining workflows 20% – Quote follow‑up and house account development Balance – Coordination with outside sales, suppliers, and leadership Compensation and Benefits A salary of $90K–$110K depending on experience Health Benefits Business expenses reimbursed Laptop Cell Phone Support and Training On Job Shadowing Supplier training (Inhouse or at Supplier’s location) Online Experience and Background 10–15 years of experience in sales or technical roles within electrical, lighting, or industrial supply industries. Experience managing or mentoring a sales or order desk team.
