What Is Expected Of Me In This Role Deliver training, coaching, and motivation to HR team members while supporting positive labour relations and fostering a collaborative work environment. Act as a passionate advocate for Hyatt’s values and culture of care, inspiring others to embody these principles. Take an active lead with the HR team to enhance the employee value proposition through growth and development, rewards and recognition, wellbeing, and DEI. Shape both short‑term and long‑term HR strategy, creating a positive impact for all colleagues. Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and coaching abilities Sound experience working with Unions Thorough understanding of collective agreements Recruitment and onboarding experience Experience in a dynamic, resourceful, and proactive talent & culture leadership role, with a proven ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and make sound decisions 3‑5 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely Ability to promote and foster a consultative, problem‑solving approach to labour relations with Leaders, Union partners, and Colleagues, providing guidance on collective agreements, labour laws, and policies Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, health and safety, and training and development Previous hotel experience is an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and general computer applications Seniority Level Director Employment Type Full-time Job Function Human Resources Industry Hospitality #J-18808-Ljbffr
