About the Job We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Human Resources to lead and scale our HR function in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. This role is ideal for a strategic HR leader who thrives in a tech‑driven organization and is passionate about building strong teams, processes, and culture. Duties & Responsibilities Design and execute a forward‑thinking HR strategy that aligns with Corinex’s international vision and growth goals. Build and maintain trusted relationships across all levels of the organization, acting as a dependable senior‑level business partner who provides timely, accurate, and proactive HR support and consultation. Lead and develop a high‑performing HR team, fostering a shared commitment to excellence, responsiveness, and people‑first practices. Serve as a strategic advisor to the director‑level and management team, applying critical thinking, strong business acumen, and clear communication to distill complex issues into actionable insights. Anticipate organizational needs by recommending and implementing impactful HR programs that enhance engagement, performance, and development. Navigate global compliance requirements with confidence, leveraging hands‑on experience as a global HR generalist to guide policy and decision‑making across jurisdictions. Oversee core HR operations, including benefits administration, policy management, employee relations, HR data integrity, compensation planning, and internal communications. Lead the global employee lifecycle, encompassing talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and compliance. Partner with senior leadership to support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management efforts. Ensure HR systems and tools (HRIS, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and time‑off management) are optimized to meet business needs. Drive performance management programs, aligning them with compensation strategies and learning and development initiatives. Oversee employee development, identifying growth opportunities and learning pathways to support career progression and skill‑building. Foster a positive and engaging employee experience, leading internal communication and cultural initiatives that align with Corinex’s values. Manage and coach a small HR team, balancing empowerment, accountability, and ongoing professional growth. Required Qualifications 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role. Previous experience in a high‑tech or fast‑growing technology company. Proven success in leading HR in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance in BC, Canada. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated ability to influence, build trust, and drive change across all levels of the organization. Experience with HR systems and data‑driven HR practices. Preferred CPHR certification. Global or multi‑site HR experience. Experience scaling HR processes in a high‑growth environment.
