Their mission is to provide scalable, high-performance SEO SaaS solutions that will be go-to resource for SEO Consultants globally.


We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer with experience in Node.js, React.js, and Next.js to join our team on a 3 to 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project success.


Job Description


As a JavaScript Developer, you will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of our SEO-focused SaaS products. Your expertise in Node.js, React.js, and Next.js will be critical in building responsive, efficient, and scalable web applications.

This is a fully remote position, and candidates must have the right to work in Canada.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SEO-focused SaaS applications using JavaScript, with a focus on Node.js, React.js, and Next.js.
  • Collaborate with executives and project leaders to implement new features and improve existing ones.
  • Ensure applications are optimized for accuracy, performance, speed, scalability, and security.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to enhance the reliability of the platform.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in web development, particularly those related to SEO.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a JavaScript Developer with expertise in Node.js, React.js, and Next.js.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience in building and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Proficiency in React.js for creating dynamic, SEO-optimized user interfaces.
  • Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation, with a focus on SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Proficient with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a remote environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience with SEO tools or platforms.
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
