Gestionnaire de projet principal, Planification des transports City of Ottawa / Ville d’Ottawa. Location 110 Avenue Laurier Ouest, Ottawa, ON, Canada Salary $102,307.66 – $124,480.72 per year (2025 rate). Responsibilities Lead short‑ and long‑term transportation planning studies, including the City Master Plan for Transportation and relevant sections of the Ottawa Official Plan. Manage feasibility studies, demand assessments, environmental reviews and functional studies for transit projects (light rail, bus rapid transit), roads, bridges, pedestrian and cycling facilities. Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, external consultants and municipal staff; liaise with Ottawa and Gatineau departments, federal and provincial ministries and project stakeholders. Participate in municipal transportation needs planning and implementation strategy development; evaluate infrastructure funding priorities in the annual City budget. Provide technical support to the Planning Projects Division, review policies, design urban policy and conduct research and analysis on related issues. Oversee transportation project implementation to ensure compliance with approved environmental assessments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in engineering or urban or regional planning. At least 8 years of related experience. Urban Planning Professional (UPC) or Professional Engineer (PEO) certification. Strong knowledge of Ottawa Official Plan, Transportation Master Plan, provincial environmental assessment legislation, transportation policy and planning principles, rapid transit operations and design standards. Experience with community consultation, climate change impacts, noise policy, traffic engineering, freight, sustainable transport modelling and policy development. Proficiency with project management principles, budgeting, procurement, stakeholder communication and project reporting. Additional Requirements Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading).
