Job Number: JR • Department: EO ENHANCE Ontario – Inpatient Team • Location: EO Head Office • Type: Permanent full‑time • Positions: 1 • Salary: $51.81–$60.06 per hour • Hours: Days Enhance Ontario (EO) is a not‑for‑profit entity that provides centralized IT services to seven member hospitals, managing a shared Epic Clinical Information System (“CIS”) for more than 1.5 million patients. Responsibilities Act as Tier 2 support contact for end‑users of the application. Identify and resolve issues that arise within the application and that impact other application teams. Lead testing of application updates, enhancements, custom programming and new releases/quarterly upgrades. Support operational committees and working groups with workflow design/optimization decision‑making by highlighting system capabilities, limitations, risks and more. Maintain training materials and content with Principal Trainers in sync with build updates. Support end‑users in collaboration with Principal Trainers and analysts. Review project status and issues regularly with leadership. Provide on‑call support on a rotational basis. Requirements Clinical experience with a nursing background or another clinical discipline (essential). Experience working with Epic® (essential). Certified in Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation (preferred). Previous build or operations experience with Epic® (preferred). Strong working knowledge of clinical systems, administrative departments, operations and core clinical/process workflows (essential). Strong knowledge of change management in clinical systems, including development, design, implementation, user support, training, maintenance, quality assurance, testing and evaluation (essential). Key Competencies Identify and communicate operational issues and drive resolution of issues effectively, ensuring high end‑user satisfaction. Handle complex problems and provide innovative, creative solutions achieving high quality business/clinical outcomes. Understand workflows and procedures related to analyst’s relevant clinical area. Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to examine root cause and determine course of action. Self‑motivated, directed, attentive to detail and able to prioritize tasks in a high‑pressure environment. Communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and stakeholders. Collaborate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Learn new software, systems and processes. Reliability and perseverance in difficult situations, overcoming obstacles and working under time pressures.
