About the Team The Financial Data team delivers the data foundation that powers AlphaSense’s market intelligence platform. We source, integrate, and surface structured datasets that enable clients to discover and act on insights. Our focus is on delivering these datasets directly into clients’ critical workflows, especially our Microsoft Excel add‑ins used for financial modeling and analysis. About the Role We are seeking a product manager to own and define the next generation of our financial data offerings, emphasizing Excel add‑in products. You will sit at the intersection of our financial datasets and the end‑user’s core analysis environment, driving the roadmap for how users access, manipulate, and refresh data within spreadsheets and defining the user experience that makes the add‑in indispensable. Who You Are Experienced product manager with a minimum of 2 years building SaaS products in partnership with engineering and scrum teams. Experience with financial data products, preferably Excel add‑ins, financial modeling tools, or desktop integration products. Clear, persuasive communicator who creates PRDs, roadmaps, and requirements aligning stakeholders and driving execution. Organized and detail‑oriented, with a proven ability to manage a complex product backlog and deliver features end‑to‑end. Strategic thinker with a discovery mindset, deeply curious about client workflows and pain points, especially financial analysts, investment bankers, and corporate finance teams. Track record of owning roadmap and delivery in SaaS environments. Familiarity with AI‑powered search or workflow technologies is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field required. What You’ll Do Define and execute short‑ and mid‑term roadmaps for the AlphaSense Excel Add‑ins, aligning with business objectives and client needs. Contribute to the long‑term Financial Data vision by building a deep understanding of client personas and their financial modeling use cases. Write and prioritize product requirements (PRDs) informed by customer discovery and client feedback, focusing on data access, formula building, and data visualization in Excel. Collaborate with engineering, design, and GTM teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption of new add‑in features. Lead the development lifecycle for new add‑in features, from ideation and user stories through launch and post‑launch iteration. Identify and conduct QA strategies for add‑in functionality, performance, and data accuracy. Work with core data platform teams to ensure seamless data delivery, API performance, and reliability for the add‑in. Base Compensation Range $129,000—$177,000 CAD Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience/expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed.
