Senior Engineering Manager Join to apply for the Senior Engineering Manager role at Trackunit. Trackunit is seeking a stellar Senior Engineering Manager to join our growing engineering team. Responsibilities Lead two software engineering teams composed of frontend, backend, data, and external engineers, and develop and maintain software applications that enable over-the-air (OTA) access to construction machinery via our IoT Devices. The teams are currently focused on building two exciting new features: FOTA and remote commands on top of our extendable platform, Trackunit Iris. Participate in a cross‑functional leadership team that includes other Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Designers, and be responsible for all aspects of the product areas within strategic product initiatives, including setting direction and communicating current status and plans. Manage your location flexibility: Our main Canadian hub in London, Ontario offers a flexible set‑up with options to work from the London hub or remotely in Ontario, but you are expected to be present at the hub on a regular basis. Act as a people manager: inspire, lead, and motivate team members to see their full potential and get energized from this role. Facilitate the development process from planning to demos and retrospectives. Facilitate ideation and definition of new features, co‑creating with customers and breaking down complex problems into user‑friendly software. Define and maintain strategic direction for your team in close collaboration with product management.
