If so, we are looking for you to complement one of our three offices – London, Kitchener or Kingston Ontario.Check us out https://callidus.ca/work-at-callidus/BenefitsWe have competitive wagesWe offer a competitive benefits packageIncentive compensation based on the performance of the companyResponsibilitiesReview and stamp electrical projects of all complexities and sizesDirect design strategies/concepts on complex projects for the following electrical systems:Power distribution and generation systemsLighting (indoor and outdoor) and lighting control systemsFire Alarm SystemsVoice/data communications, Security/CCTV systems, public address, nurse call, and related infrastructureProvide technical leadership within the electrical teamLead audits, feasibility assessments and investigations and write corresponding reportsSupport efforts in the continuous development of electrical design standards and practicesMentor intermediate and junior level engineers and designersInvolvement in troubleshooting construction issuesCommunicate with clients, contractors and sales reps, prepare project documentation and coordinate with other engineering disciplinesConduct site visits/reviews and construction phase servicesOther responsibilities as requiredRequired experienceDesign experience for complex fire alarm and electrical systems in a variety of industry sectors including multi-unit residential, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and institutionalSignificant exposure to troubleshooting on-site control issuesDesign experience for medium and/or high voltage system is an assetExtensive code knowledge including but not limited to: OBC, OESC, CSA and other referenced codesQualificationsEngineering license in Ontario with 10+ years of design experience in the building construction industry and at least 5 years design experience in CanadaPro-active approach to problem-solving and communicating with othersAbility to multi-task and be organized, especially under the stress of deadlinesExcellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skillsStrong desire to work within a team and develop the skills of the team #J-18808-Ljbffr
