Please note that this is a Calgary, Canada based onsite role. The tenure is 2 years+ We are seeking an experienced Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The MRB Engineer will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving non-conformance issues related to aircraft structures, systems, and components. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure compliance with design, regulatory, and safety requirements. Responsibilities Evaluate and disposition non-conforming parts, materials, and assemblies through the MRB process Perform structural and system analysis to assess discrepancies and determine corrective actions Collaborate with design, stress, and manufacturing teams to develop repair solutions Ensure all MRB actions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies Prepare technical justifications for repair or rework activities Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance MRB efficiency and reduce rework Provide technical support to production and quality teams regarding MRB-related issues Maintain accurate records and reports for MRB activities and corrective actions Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of MRB engineering experience within the aerospace industry Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, composites, systems, and materials Experience with aerospace industry regulations (FAA, TCCA, EASA) Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks) and analysis tools Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound engineering decisions under pressure Strong communication and teamwork abilities Key Skills & Focus Areas MRB engineering for aircraft structures, systems, and components Structural and system analysis to assess discrepancies Review, analysis, and resolution of non-conformance issues Collaboration with stakeholders to dispose of non-conformances CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks) proficiency Key Responsibilities Evaluate and disposition non-conforming parts, materials, and assemblies through the MRB process Perform structural and system analysis to assess discrepancies and determine corrective actions Collaborate with design, stress, and manufacturing teams to develop repair solutions Ensure all MRB actions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies Prepare technical justifications for repair or rework activities Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance MRB efficiency and reduce rework Provide technical support to production and quality teams regarding MRB-related issues Maintain accurate records and reports for MRB activities and corrective actions Seniority Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Engineering and Design Industries Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing Airlines and Aviation Engineering Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
