Oil and Gas Recruiting Coordinator at Rigup Overview We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers and Technicians to join our team working on complex projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data centers, and industrial facilities. This role requires expertise in electrical systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting with a focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions. Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems including single-line diagrams, motor control center layouts, and power distribution systems (208Y/120V through 480V) Produce installation details, electric room layouts, tool installation connection diagrams, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, power plans, and lighting plans Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment including valves, motors, turbines, meters, and sampling systems Conduct breaker coordination studies and Arc Flash/Short-Circuit Current studies Coordinate activities with supervisors, planners/schedulers, and cross-functional teams Ensure all maintenance work aligns with regulations and company O&M procedure requirements Support on-site assistance during startup and construction phases Complete and maintain required safety and technical training Update facility records and drawings as necessary Be available for on-call emergency responses and maintenance as required Qualifications Required/Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent experience with certification for technician roles) 2-6 years of electrical engineering/technician experience in industrial settings Knowledge and application of National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and NFPA standards Working knowledge of CAD and/or BIM modeling software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Valid driver's license in good standing Professional Engineering License (PE) Experience with Revit, NavisWorks, PTW SKM power analysis software, Easypower and/or ETAP Experience leading small teams (3-5 members) Experience with semiconductor tool installation Project scoping and development experience Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams Passion for buildings and construction Working Conditions Mix of field (80%) and office (20%) environments May work on Alternative Work Schedule (e.g., 9/80 schedule) Work on and around high voltage equipment, transformers, disconnects, switchgear, and motor control centers Operations in hazardous or restricted locations (pump rooms, confined spaces, tank lots) Travel to client sites and facilities Physical requirements include walking, standing, sitting, bending, crouching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50lbs On-site position requiring work at client locations during normal business hours Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Temporary Industries Oil and Gas #J-18808-Ljbffr
