The Role: Full-Time Executive Producer As an Executive Producer at Ajax Creative, you will guide high-profile projects from pitch to delivery, overseeing teams, budgets, and client relationships while protecting the creative vision. You’ll work closely with directors, producers, and creative leadership to deliver exceptional productions, while also building and nurturing relationships with agencies and brands across Canada and beyond. This is a full-time, salaried leadership role with the opportunity to make a long-term impact on our creative output and company growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee all phases of production and post-production - from bidding and pre-production to final delivery, ensuring high-quality creative execution. Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong and lasting relationships with agencies and brand partners. Collaborate with creative leadership on treatments, pitch materials, and production strategies. Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication, resource allocation, and smooth workflows. Manage budgets and timelines, balancing profitability with creative ambition. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to Ajax’s continued expansion in the Canadian and global markets. Build and manage post schedules and workflows tailored to Canadian broadcaster and digital platform requirements; align internal and external teams on milestones. Supervise editorial direction and review cycles; consolidate client feedback and maintain scope discipline. Oversee color, mix, VFX/animation, graphics, and conform; ensure continuity across EN/FR and other localization needs. Plan and manage deliverables: masters, cutdowns, social crops, language/versioning packages, subtitles, and platform-specific exports. Manage vendor relationships with local post facilities and finishing partners; drive competitive bidding and schedule adherence. Ensure secure media handling, storage, and archival; implement reliable turnover and version control. Own post budgets and reconciliations; propose efficiencies and scalable tooling for high-volume deliverables. What You Bring Proven experience as an Executive Producer in commercial, branded content, or film production. Strong background in managing large-scale, multi-location productions. Exceptional client relationship skills and the ability to represent the company with professionalism and creativity. Deep understanding of production processes, budgeting, and scheduling. Leadership experience with cross-functional creative and production teams. Based in Canada, with flexibility for domestic and occasional international travel. Post-focused strengths: experience with Canadian broadcast/digital specs, bilingual deliverables, and finishing at scale across markets. Why Work for Ajax?
