The Opportunity We’re hiring a Bilingual Settlements Administrator to join our Operations team. You will report to the Supervisor, Settlements and will manage settlement of foreign and domestic equity trades within the CDSX, DTC, and CDCC systems, including equity option settlements. Statutory holidays or weekends may occasionally be required. Collaboration – You collaborate with others to drive positive outcomes, building trust, inclusion, and effective relationships within and outside the organization. What your day looks like Set up and match trades on CDS or Arrow within industry standards. Match confirmation of trades completed with other institutions. Interact with sales representatives to resolve unmatched or unprocessed trades. Ensure all trades are processed and settled within required time frames. Balance and correct outages in day‑to‑day processing using reports from CDS and Dataphile systems. Interact with brokerage firms and custodians to confirm or correct trades. Maintain, update, and track failed trades and reasons for failures. Balance monthly statements from external sources. Follow the policy and procedures manual for the settlements team. Track and maintain files related to daily settlements and record storage. Assist with other duties as assigned and support colleagues when needed. Requirements Post‑secondary education in a related field is an asset. Minimum 2 years in an office environment, preferably in the securities industry with experience using Dataphile, CDS, and DTC. Successful completion of the CSC (Canadian Securities Course) or IFIC Operations course is an asset. Ability to work independently and achieve objectives within company and regulatory requirements. Self‑motivated, results‑driven. Strong administration skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment. Strong customer service orientation. Strong organizational, time‑management, and decision‑making skills. Demonstrated success in resource planning, coaching, motivation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships at all levels. Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge. Fluency in written and spoken English and French. Work hours may vary due to industry demands or volume (Eastern time zone business hours).
