The role requires experience with PLC programming and commissioning, good problem‑solving skills, ability to plan and work to tight schedules, and a customer focus. Responsibilities: Develop control system architectures and designs based on project requirements. Program, configure, and integrate PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human‑Machine Interfaces), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to commission new equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality and performance. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues and implement preventive‑maintenance measures. Troubleshoot control system failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Automation, or related field. Proven experience (5 years) in designing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems. Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, function block diagram, and structured text. Hands‑on experience with HMI/SCADA software. Ability and willingness to travel to North American client sites.
