Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer II Bastian Solutions is a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, a material handling and robotics system integrator. We are hiring a Controls Engineer II to design and develop controls projects in material handling solutions. Job Functions Conduct full scope controls projects involving PLC/HMI or other technologies. Work within a team environment on project deliverables. Learn new technologies via in-house or external training. Develop processes to support team growth. Solve problems for team and customers. Deliver projects that meet or exceed customer expectations. Develop customer relationships. Contribute to project teams, providing help outside controls scope when needed. Establish beneficial relationships with key suppliers and provide technical assistance on issues. Develop new controls techniques or equipment to maintain industry leadership. Travel Requirements Ability to travel 30-50% of the time; bi-weekly rotation may be required. Required Qualification and Preferred Skills BS in Engineering or MS in Engineering (preferred). 5+ years experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, panel design, mechanical capabilities, and controls project management. Experience with MS Office products. AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred. Material Handling Integration experience preferred. Strong communication and organization skills. Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
