Assist in developing project plans, contributing to defining scope, timelines, and resource needs. Participate in mechanical design activities, collaborating with experienced engineers to learn best practices and contribute to design solutions. Work closely with other engineering disciplines, fostering strong communication and teamwork across functions. Track project progress and support budget monitoring, helping identify cost‑saving opportunities and flagging potential issues. Help identify project risks and contribute to discussions on mitigation strategies. Engage with clients professionally, providing updates when appropriate and helping address questions or concerns. Ensure engineering work aligns with quality standards and codes, learning to interpret and apply relevant guidelines. Review technical designs and documentation with senior engineers, gaining experience in evaluating and refining engineering outputs. What you’ll bring to WSP: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering along with more than 3 years in the consulting industry Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards. Experience in managing projects, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Knowledge of design of Mechanical systems across various facility types. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
