Visit us at Summary of Position As a Senior Mechanical Project Manager, supporting our Architecture and Engineering business unit, you will be leading a team of Project Engineers and Designers. You will apply experience in HVAC, plumbing/piping, and fire protection systems. As part of a multi‑disciplined firm, you will coordinate with Site/Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects, and Construction Project Managers. You will be responsible for fully planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to project parameters for deliverables, schedules, and budgets for assigned clients. You align with our Core Values of: Integrity, Service, Excellence, Innovation, Inclusion. Responsibilities Serve as the lead point of contact for clients. Conduct initial project investigation. Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub‑consultants. Plan staffing and establish budget hours within project parameters for all assigned staff. Manage staff and staffing schedules during the production process. Oversee project scheduling for all project related activities for all parties involved. Coordinate permitting approval process. Collect A/R’s, efficiency evaluations, profit evaluations and manage the financial aspect for all projects. Manage multiple projects with multiple clients simultaneously. Organize and maintain project files. Maintain documentation for billable hours. Demonstrate an understanding of liability issues related to design. Demonstrate an understanding of constructability and complex design. Develop and mentor staff. Participate in business development which involves attendance at marketing functions, business dinners/events, and cross marketing with other offices. Qualifications 10+ years of combined production and management experience with general building mechanical engineering, preferably with commercial projects such as retail or restaurants. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required. P.E. License preferred. AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office proficiency. Team You will work with a team of Design Engineers, Professional Engineers, and Project Managers. Work Location This role is based out of our Ontario, CA, Long Beach, CA, or Roseville, CA offices.
