For more information, check out our website Overview We are looking for a dynamic and responsive individual for the position of Outreach and Public Education Coordinator. This role involves strategic partnership development and maintenance, customer relations and training, and interpreter recruitment. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and deliver outreach presentations annually to schools, faith communities, civic groups (Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions), businesses, universities, and neighborhood associations. Coordinate and staff tabling/events at community festivals, health fairs, resource/employment fairs, and awareness campaigns. Build and nurture ongoing relationships with community stakeholders, neighborhood leaders, and faith congregations. Collaborate on public education campaigns, social media content, blog posts, and media interviews that combat stereotypes and highlight solutions. Track outreach activities, audience reach, and outcomes in our CRM and prepare quarterly impact reports. Represent the agency at community events, networking functions, chamber meetings, service clubs (Rotary, Kiwanis, etc.), and faith‑based groups. Qualifications 2+ years of frontline fundraising, sales, business development, or transferable outreach experience. Proven ability to close gifts or sales. Exceptional communication skills—comfortable speaking to small and large groups. A natural relationship‑builder who genuinely enjoys meeting new people. Strong cultural competency and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Highly organized, self‑motivated, and goal‑oriented. Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with monthly and annual revenue targets. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and presentations. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Passion for our mission and the people we serve. Existing relationships in our region with business or newcomer communities.
