The Health and Safety Advisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role will focus on WBIS (Workplace-Based Injury Surveillance), safety checks, and Safety SOPs to prevent workplace incidents and promote a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • WBIS (Workplace-Based Injury Surveillance) & Incident Reporting
  • Safety Inspections & Compliance Checks
  • Safety SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) & Training
  • Emergency Preparedness & Risk Management
  • Continuous Promotion of a Safe Culture
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits
  • Strong communication and training skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in a health and safety role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of WBIS, safety checks, and Safety SOPs.
