Acting as an ambassador for the mission, vision, values and goals of the Corporate Finance Team, the Senior Advisor will be responsible for co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders and reporting on key departmental projects and corporate initiatives as required. The Senior Advisor will be accountable for a lead role in the month end close process, including variance analysis, systems reconciliations and monthly review of all reconciliations. The Senior Advisor will also aid in the preparation of year end lead sheets and audited financial statements, internal and external reporting and maintenance of the financial reporting structure. The Senior Advisor will also involve all levels, including management, ensuring adequacy of controls in both program and administrative activities to attain program goals. The Senior Advisor will be responsible for ensuring adherence to relevant Capital Assets and Deferred Capital Contribution internal policies as well as application of Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS).         Qualifications 1. Professional designation CA, CMA, or CGA required or a minimum of five years of professional accounting or audit experience 2. Strong knowledge and understanding of PSAS accounting standards 3. Post secondary Degree or Diploma in Business 4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access 5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills 6. Demonstrated experience in specific role accountabilities 7. Previous hospital experience an asset
