Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Lead (AWS) Client: Financial Sector Location: Toronto (Hybrid) – 3 days onsite per week Duration: Six months (potential for extension) Language: English Position: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support Cloud Platform and Product Components Qualifications Senior resource with 3+ years of recent experience leading a team 10+ years overall experience in Infrastructure, Cloud and Software Engineering 5+ years of experience on CI/CD pipelines, IaC and DevOps platforms: Terraform, Ansible, Github/Actions, Jenkins/AWS CodeBuild, Vault, ELK stack Hands‑on experience with container technologies such as EKS, Docker, service mesh Strong knowledge of AWS networking services such as Transit Gateway, Route 53, firewall AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate level required, Professional preferred Knowledge of Cloud Security practices and tools, Architecture, FinOps and Cost Governance Capacity to lead continuous improvement efforts for operational efficiency Excellent communication, stakeholder management and mentoring skills Responsibilities and Tasks Support Cloud Platform and Product Components Lead troubleshooting, issue investigation and resolution for the Cloud Operations team Provide technical leadership to team members and escalation support Apply Service Management and ITSM processes Peer‑review code for accuracy, best practices and operational stability Ensure strong cloud security and cost management controls are maintained Note: This is a contract position with the client, not a full‑time role with Kyndryl Canada.
