Our financial sector client requires the services of a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support Cloud Platform and Product Components
Qualifications
- Senior resource and must have recent 3+ years of work experience in leading a team
- Candidates should possess extensive experience in cloud administration, migration, and ongoing maintenance within AWS environments
- 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud and Software Engineering
- 5+ years of experience on CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps platforms: Terraform, Ansible, Github/Actions, Jenkins/AWS Codebuild, Vault, ELK stack
- Hands-on experience on container technologies, such as EKS, Docker, service mesh
- Strong knowledge on AWS networking services such as Transit Gateway, Route 53, firewall
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate level certification required, Professional preferred
- Knowledge Across Cloud Security Practices and Tools, Architecture, FinOps and Cost Governance
- Lead continued improvement efforts for operational efficiency and improvement
Tasks:
- Support Cloud Platform and Product Components
- Ability to lead troubleshooting and issue investigation and resolution
- Technical strength to lead Cloud Operations team activities and members and escalation support.
- Strong knowledge of Service Management and ITSM processes
- Regularly Peer Review code for accuracy and best practices, operational stability
- Ensure strong cloud security and cost management controls are maintained
