**Job Title: Mover****Job Description**Join our dynamic team as a General Laborer, where you will play a crucial role in assisting with the delivery, staging, and professional installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). This opportunity offers training in technical work and promises a hands-on experience in a variety of settings, including active construction and healthcare environments.**Responsibilities**Assist with the delivery, staging, and professional installation of FF&E.Stage and move equipment on site for the first 4-5 months.Participate in projects such as head wall installation and handling equipment like sinks, fridges, and freezers.Unload and stage all equipment using a pallet jack.Ensure installation of earthquake safety measures.Follow site maps, floor plans, cut sheets, and install drawings.Use hand and power tools on site.Comply with all site safety protocols and procedures.Follow directions from supervisors.**Essential Skills**1 year of experience in heavy labor or physically demanding roles.3+ months of moving experience, either residential or commercial.Experience with moving, wrapping, and preparing furniture and equipment.Skilled in handling large and heavy objects safely and efficiently.Ability to move and position oversized items.Strong attention to detail, especially with high-value or delicate items.Comfortable working in active construction and healthcare environments.Valid driveru2019s license and reliable transportation is an asset.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Mechanical skills, forklift operation, assembly, and lifting boxes.Safety certifications like WHIMIS, CSTS, and Fall Protection are an advantage.A can-do, will-do attitude is valued over prior experience.**Why Work Here?**Enjoy comprehensive benefits starting from day one, including dental, vision, and extended health care. These are commercial sites, not residential. Shifts are Tuesday to Saturday at some sites and Monday to Friday at other sites, with hours determined the week prior.
