About the Role Mircom designs and manufactures numerous products in the Fire-Alarm and building management domain. Our products contain communication, audio, microprocessor and power devices (analog and switching). Mircom is seeking a PCB Layout Designer that will be working within the electronics design team. You will be responsible for the layout of mid to high complexity PCB designs on multi-layer printed circuit boards, as well as the expansion of the electronic part libraries for the Altium design environment. You will interface with various engineering disciplines daily to deliver a high-quality design within the given design requirements. Responsibilities Layout of mid to high complexity PCB designs on multi-layer printed circuit boards. Expansion of the electronic part libraries for the Altium design environment. Interface with various engineering disciplines daily. Deliver a high-quality design within the given design requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's or Equivalent degree, in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in PCB layout design for production. Required Skills Analog, Low Power Medium Speed Digital ( Ability to manage time effectively to meet schedule commitments. Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to support work in a team environment. Self-started, versatile and eager to learn. Preferred Skills Hands-on PCB Layout knowledge. DFT and DFM techniques knowledge. Experience with Altium Designer, Matlab and PSPICE. Experience with ERP (Dynamics AX) is a plus.
