Toronto, Ontario and surrounding areas Job Description Standard Fencing Company, a leading provider of residential wood privacy and chainlink fencing services in Toronto and surrounding areas, is seeking a skilled Co-Foreman to join our team. As a Co-Foreman, you will assist the Site Foreman in overseeing the construction and installation of high-quality fences at customer sites. You will ensure that projects are completed on-time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day management and coordination of construction sites Supervise and train a team of fencing installers to ensure quality workmanship Plan, organize and direct site activities to ensure that construction schedules are met Oversee the ordering of materials and equipment necessary for job completion Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed Inspect completed installations to ensure that they meet company standards and customer specifications Assist the Site Foreman with any additional tasks as needed Requirements 2+ years of experience in fence construction or a related field Strong leadership and supervisory skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Knowledge of fencing materials, methods, and techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits.
