Brief:


We are seeking a marketing student to fill a sales and marketing intern role. This person will provide support to the sales and marketing team and will perform the following duties: SEO optimization, content planning, campaign development and implementation, social media management, content creation, website maintenance, and other relevant administrative tasks. 


Job Description:


1. Develop sales tools i.e. easy-to-update monthly flyers, sales templates, customer forms, and standard procedures. 2. Develop the SEO score of product postings on the company website.

3. Scout new accounts for the sales team. Identify potential customers and develop proposals.

4. Fulfill duties of a social media manager (plan and implement social media advertising campaigns, analyze market trends and competitor strategies, respond to online comments, plan monthly content, provide creative assets, develop captions, cross post content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn where applicable, scout content creators for partnerships, and provide campaign reports) while ensuring brand consistency through all marketing channels.

5. Provide support in designing and updating the company website and Amazon storefront.

6. Develop and utilize brand books.

7. Provide support in planning and executing marketing events.

8. Grow the email marketing database/subscriber list.

9. Conduct market research, copywriting, and other administrative tasks. 


Job Requirement:


1. Excellent communication skills.

2. Proficiency in MS Office tools.

3. Familiarity with SEO is an asset.

4. Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe photoshop is an asset.

5. Familiarity with social media and email marketing tools such as Buffer and Mailchimp is an asset.

6. Experience in social media management is an asset.

7. Must possess strong creative thinking and resourcefulness.

8. Familiarity with graphic design and an ability to deliver creative social media content (text, image, video).
