You may also have the chance to work in multiple process units on site. Your work will be guided and supervised by a qualified shift operator and a Production Team Lead.The start and end dates for this role will vary based on the specific program and school you are attending.Duties will vary depending on placement however could include the following:* Unit rounds* Troubleshooting* Monitoring equipment* Assist in preparing the equipment for maintenance, as well as for sampling and testing**Skills & Requirements*** Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer* Must be enrolled in a Power Engineering program (finishing first year or graduate term of the program in April/May) or a 4thClass Certification course requiring steam hours to complete either your 4th or 3rdABSA certifications* Must possess a valid driver's license* Able to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights and in confined spaces* Ability to follow safe lifting techniques, able to lift and carry 20 kg from ground to waist level* Ability to work safely wearing a respirator or Self-contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)* Willing to comply with Shell's drug-free and harassment-free work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures* Willing to engage in new digitalization solutions and learn new technologies as applicable* Open to working a rotating shift schedule, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays* Willing to work outdoors in inclement weather* Must reside within the area or be willing to relocate at your own expense for the duration of your student termApplicants need to upload their latest resume and Power Engineering school transcript.
