People like youJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Adhere to safety policies, programs, proceduresComplete health & safety pre-start checklistsEnsure product being produced meets established quality specificationsDocument quality checks at regular intervalsOperate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating proceduresOperate counterbalance, propane-powered forkliftDocument production numbers, items contributing to down-time (using computerized system called PRODAC, as well as hand-written production reports)Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basisGeneral housekeeping dutiesAdditional duties as assigned by Supervisory staffQualifications:Minimum 1 year of counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended)Experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferredComfortable with working in a dusty environmentManual dexterityAttention to detailFluent in verbal and written EnglishPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basisComfortable with standing for extended periods of timeMust be able to work at heights and in confined spacesPPE includes hard hat, safety footwear, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, face mask and face shield.Some tasks require wearing N95 mask (fit testing required) where candidate must be clean shaven.Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
