**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a Production Operator L2 (Level 2) to join our team of skilled professionals based at our brand new Brampton Plant. This state of the art manufacturing plant produces premium asphalt roofing shingles in a high speed, continuous manufacturing process environment.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Adhere to safety policies, programs, procedures
- Inspect raw material and finish products per quality specifications
- Conduct quality checks at regular intervals
- Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard work instruction.
- Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift
- Enter waste, downtime data into system.
- General housekeeping duties
- Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction industry preferred
- Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience preferred
- Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
- Manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow direction and specific instructions
- Good communication skills; Fluent in English - Reading, Writing and Speaking

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Must be able to walk and/or stand 90% of the shift
- Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces

This is a full time unionized permanent position.

Pay Range: $25.11 - $27.11 per hour
