The ILSC Toronto / Greystone Toronto IT Auxiliary Support and Social Media Coordinator role is an on‑campus, dual role. This is a 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension. IT Auxiliary Support Role Reporting to the Manager, Systems Technology, this role works with the Systems Support team. Responsibilities include coordinating with key members to manage local hardware, software and IT infrastructure at the campus. The role requires organization, motivation and communication at all levels. The candidate translates business needs into technical solutions and works with the team to recommend and implement solutions. Scheduled hours: 4 hours per day, Monday‑Friday 8:30 AM–12:30 PM (20 hours per week). Job Duties Identifies issues staff are having with hardware and software and resolves them where possible. Acts as the primary local escalation point to the Systems Support team. Logs into the ServiceDesk ticket management system to review, resolve, or elevate_settings tickets for the local campus; participates in the evaluation, recommendation, piloting, testing and launch of new hardware, software and apps; participates in various IT initiatives, help‑desk/desktop projects and research tasks assigned. Serves as the liaison with the Systems Team and primary communication point for local staff during major production issues, upgrades, or scheduled downtime. Conducts research using online searches, manuals, publications and a variety of resources including other IT staff and vendors to troubleshoot and answer customer questions. Manages, maintains and improves technical documentation. Coordinates with vendors and service providers for in‑warranty hardware replacement and service. Follows standard guidelines toekten install and configure new equipment and peripherals, moving and updating equipment for regular replacement and staff relocations. Thinks outside the box to improve processes, implement new technologies, and develop innovative solutions. Builds positive relationships – works to build or maintain effective relationships or networks with internal or external partners whose cooperation is important to present and future success. Demonstrates teamwork, initiative and creativity. Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 2019 & 365, Apple OSX. Windows Active Directory user and computer administration (desirable). MS Exchange/Outlook user account administration. Experience with 365 in a hybrid platform (desirable). Familiarity with media streaming devices and systems. Able to prioritize expectations and recognize when issues/events may affect delivery. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Proficient in English – both oral and written. Ability to work independently and in a team. Dedicated, professional approach with a proven customer focus. Social Media Coordinator Role The Social Media Coordinator is an integral member of the social media team in Toronto, liaising with the Student Services department, teachers, managers and I===========================================================================>­­; other entities in order to create, record, document and post social media content for school activities, moments and events.
