Your opportunities Stantec is offering you a great opportunity to join the telecommunications structures team in a key role based in Montreal, Laval, or Longueuil, working on-site or in a hybrid mode. As a Telecommunications Structures Team Leader, you will be responsible for the technical and operational management of a specialized team, while actively contributing to the completion of varied and complex projects. You will work on different types of structures, mainly steel, including towers (self-supporting, guyed, and tubular), masts, structures installed on building roofs, power transmission towers, water tanks, and other special structures. Responsibilities Your responsibilities Supervise your team (identify resource needs, develop skills, provide technical guidance, provide health and safety training, assign resources to the right projects, conduct annual professional development and performance review meetings, etc.), liaise with other team leaders to distribute the workload; Participate with the management team in the development of the telecommunications structure team;Assume a project manager role for certain clients; Participate in the preparation of service offers; Manage the utilization of your team's resources; Plan the project, define the content and ensure project management, perform high-level design and validate the team's work; Ensure constant coordination of work with all other disciplines involved in the project; Integrate industry, company, and client standards into the design; Identify and manage risks; Manage changes; Verify cost estimates, reports, plans, and specifications; Ensure the quality of project designs and deliverables; Maintain constant and effective communication with the client; Participate in contract administration activities, including issuing change orders;Provide technical support to colleagues and clients; Apply company and client system requirements. If you have any questions, reach out to your recruiter Catherine Tatta on LinkedIn Qualifications Your profile Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, specializing in structures; 10 years of experience in the analysis and design of telecommunications structures/steel frames; Member of the OIQ; Knowledge of TS Tower software (a significant asset); Excellent ability to work in a team; Plan work to meet deadlines and expected project performance targets. Good command of spoken and written French. Knowledge of English is an asset to facilitate collaboration with our internal teams outside Quebec or with clients.
