Telecommunications Structural Engineer – CIMA+ Job OverviewJoin CIMA+ in Quebec and build innovative telecommunications structures. This role focuses on design, analysis, and project coordination across BC, Ontario, and Quebec. Key Responsibilities Participate in kick‑off and technical coordination meetings Design and validate towers, reinforcements, and special structures Design and verify foundations and anchoring systems Prepare structural analysis reports and technical documentation Coordinate engineering drawings with draftsmen and ensure quality of deliverables Implement and improve innovative methods and tools to optimize processes Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects within CIMA+ Attend coordination meetings with clients Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 3+ years of structural engineering experience Member of EGBC (P.Eng. from other Canadian order is an asset) Strong interest in structural calculations and technology Fluency in English (oral and written); French is an asset Excellent time‑management and priority‑setting skills Team player with attention to detail and organizational skills Interest in developing automated calculation tools Asset: experience in telecommunications structural engineering Asset: knowledge of SAFI Telecom and TSTower Asset: interest in at‑height telecommunication structure survey and inspection Benefits Comprehensive group benefits from day one (for permanent employees 20+ hrs/week) Employee and Family Assistance Program Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with 4% employer contribution Annual share‑purchase opportunity for all employees Flexible work schedule in a hybrid work mode Work/life balance policy across Canada 3–5 weeks of vacation (based on relevant experience) Tailored training to improve existing skills Additional Information CIMA+ uses an applicant tracking system with an automated match score; the score is not used to screen applicants.
