Business Intelligence Analyst Join to apply for the Business Intelligence Analyst role at Mosaic North America. Description The Analyst, Business Intelligence position focuses on supporting our clients by providing KPI and sales scorecards, insights, and analysis to help support business initiatives. The incumbent must adapt well to quickly changing environments and collaborate effectively with other team members by sharing new discoveries related to discovery analysis and process improvements. This position entails working closely with our clients and leadership team to develop and implement retail and HQ reporting strategies. It is a client‑facing position that requires excellent communication and presentation skills. Responsibilities Support data‑driven decisions for clients, utilizing data sources and tools such as POS data, retail data, shipment, Nielsen, Kantar, etc. Develop and maintain client‑facing scorecards, measuring progress against defined KPIs; provide visualization, analysis, and next‑step recommendations. Ensure data accuracy by analyzing data for completeness, format, and conformity. Present data clearly and meaningfully, stay up‑to‑date on data visualization trends and theory. Interface directly with clients to present results and discuss KPIs. Collaborate closely with business and client managers to ensure quality results are delivered. Keep abreast of clients' KPI’s, strategies, innovations, and other important information. Participate in client meetings and QBRs to provide business analysis. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Work Experience Requirements 3–5 years of related work experience. Previous CPG industry experience is an asset. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements Demonstrates proactive engagement in communication with exceptional active listening skills, fostering meaningful dialogue. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to communicate and engage with client/customer teams. Makes presentations with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Critical thinking and creative problem‑solving skills. Documents and follows up on meeting results, client/customer approvals, and owners of action items. Additional Skills Coordinating project activities—communicating project goals, timelines, and milestones. Advanced Power BI skillset (data transformation, DAX, data flows, visualizations). Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas, Power Query, lookups). Prior experience in the CPG industry is a major asset. Experience working with retailer data portals (Retail Link, LDIA, Circana, OneScreen) is a major asset. Working knowledge of querying an SQL database is an asset. Experience with KPI scorecarding and data modeling. Experience with Nielsen Discovery and Answers is an asset. PL‑300 certificate is considered an asset.
