As the Senior Regional Sales Consultant you will be responsible for enhancing Life insurance product sales within your assigned region. You will train, coach, motivate and support distribution channels and business units to develop plans that achieve sales targets. Responsibilities Promote a full range of Life Insurance solutions to Advisors and Managing General Agent (MGA) partners. Provide proactive sales and business‑building ideas, align Advisor goals with our insurance solutions. Manage sales growth and foster positive business relationships within the defined region. Monitor and measure competitive products, processes, technology, and marketing tools to fulfill Advisor clients’ needs and recommend changes to improve sales and service practices. Participate in seminars, trade shows and meetings to enhance awareness of CUMIS Life products and stay current with industry trends, product changes and Credit Union markets. How You Will Succeed Remain focused and optimistic in pursuit of goals, managing time and resources effectively. Build plans focused on expanding market penetration and apply innovative thinking to improve operational efficiencies. Use strong communication skills to influence or persuade others and facilitate mutually beneficial solutions. Build trusting relationships and guide peers’ development. Qualifications Five years of Life insurance sales experience. Post‑secondary diploma in a related field. Life license and one of Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certificate is an asset. Expert knowledge of the Life insurance industry and related products. Strong understanding of the Income Tax Act and working knowledge of investments, trusts, capital markets and retirement/benefits plans is an asset. Proficiency in English and French is essential for primary duties. Conditions and Requirements Regular travel. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
