Talent Consultant Senior @ Capital Group | Talent Insights Assessment “I can succeed as a Regional Wholesaler (Hybrid Wholesaler) at Capital Group.” You will partner with a wholesaler to raise and keep assets within a geographic territory by making proactive sales calls, supporting existing clients, and conducting virtual and in-person meetings with advisors. You will find advisors’ needs, uncover areas of opportunities, discuss products, and offer a consultative solution to help their clients. Territory: Quebec (with a preference that this person lives in Montreal). Responsibilities 70% of your time as an internal wholesaler supporting the main territory and 30% of your time as a hybrid wholesaler covering your own clients. Partner with the wholesaler to develop, implement, and execute a strategic business and coverage plan that targets select advisors based on their segmentation. Play a critical role in connecting with advisors to highlight and support Capital Group Canada’s investments and solutions that align with advisor goals. Manage the sales pipeline and work with a team (wholesaler and sales support coordinator) to advance the sales process for mutual funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and exchange traded funds (ETFs). Conduct proactive sales calls to strategically selected advisors to build and own relationships and consistently move the sales process forward. Gather and use data, including economic, industry, and other business-related information, to incorporate into discussions with advisors and coverage of the territory. Execute business plans in partnership with your team to meet and exceed expected territory results; evaluate results and decide adjustments in coverage strategy as needed. Use your expertise of the mutual fund industry, SMAs, ETFs, and other applicable investment products. Have knowledge of current and possible future trends in the industry. Qualifications Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a sales role in the asset management industry. Proven client relationship building and sales results. Bachelor’s degree with a preference in business; MBA is an asset. CIM or CFP preferred. Excellent communication and time‑management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective leadership skills. Compensation & Benefits In addition to a highly competitive base salary following plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
