Electrical substation control and protection design engineer Join to apply for the Electrical substation control and protection design engineer role at BBA Consultants Type of position: Regular Your future role within our team Join BBA and put your experience to work by actively contributing to the various stages of our projects as a Control and Protection Design Engineer for electrical substations. You will be involved in designing control and protection systems for high‑voltage substations and hydroelectric power plants across Canada. You will also be responsible for supporting site mandates to ensure work quality and system compliance before energization. In addition, you will play a key role in project management, client coordination and the delivery of high‑quality projects with the BBA team. With us, you will have the opportunity to… Take on various roles, including that of Project Lead Design protection panels (AC diagrams, control diagrams, wiring diagrams, etc.) Prepare installation specifications and material, cable and interconnection lists Participate in site surveys Coordinate mandates with leads from other disciplines Take part in commissioning activities related to automation Do your qualities and aspirations align with BBA’s culture?
