Protection and Control Technician

**Your future role on our team**

Join BBA and make the most of your experience as an Electrical Substation Protection and Control Technician-Designer by actively contributing to various project stages. You’ll be involved in designing protection and control systems for high-voltage substations across Canada. You’ll also be responsible for contributing to site assignments to ensure work quality and system compliance prior to energization. You’ll play a key role in managing projects, coordinating with clients and delivering quality projects with the BBA team.

- Take on various roles, including that of project leader
- Design protection panels (AC, control, wiring diagrams, etc.)
- Draft installation specifications and prepare material, cable and interconnection lists
- Participate in site surveys
- Coordinate tasks with other discipline leads
- Participate in automation start-up activities

**The experience you bring**
- College diploma in electrical engineering or other relevant field
- Experience in protection and control projects at Hydro-Québec
- Knowledge of E3 design software
- Knowledge of test equipment and site monitoring
- Available for short
- and long-term work assignments at client sites
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages
