Your future role on our team
Join BBA and make the most of your experience as an electrical drafter–designer by actively contributing to various project stages. You'll be involved in designing protection and control systems for high-voltage substations across Canada. You'll also be responsible for contributing to site assignments to ensure work quality and system compliance prior to energization. You'll play a key role in managing projects, coordinating with clients and delivering quality projects with the BBA team.

  • Take on various roles, including that of project leader
  • Design protection panels (AC, control, wiring diagrams, etc.)
  • Draft installation specifications and prepare material, cable and interconnection lists
  • Participate in site surveys
  • Coordinate tasks with other discipline leads

What You Bring To The Team

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Hydro-Québec control and protection projects
  • Knowledge of E3 design software
  • Familiarity with testing equipment and site monitoring
  • Availability for short- and long-term assignments at client sites
  • Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written, with the ability to draft technical documents in both languages
  • Asset: Degree from the Institut en génie de l'énergie électrique (IGEE)
