Our client, a leader in mechanical services, is seeking a Service Estimator to join their team. As a Service Estimator, you will be part of the Service Department supporting the Customer Solutions Managers and Business teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Service Estimator Location: Dartmouth, NS Pay Range:Depends on Experience Shift: Days What's the Job? Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical services based on customer needs and site conditions. Interpret customer requirements and support site visits to verify existing conditions and gather necessary details. Engage with customers during estimate discussions and follow up on proposals to ensure clarity and satisfaction. Optimize equipment selection, installation methods, and lifecycle value to deliver cost-effective solutions. Coordinate with operations and service teams to validate pricing and ensure constructability. What's Needed? Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical service, retrofit, or estimating. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and estimating tools such as ServiceTitan or related software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement. Ability to interpret technical drawings and site conditions accurately.
