We are searching for a skilled and experienced **Civil Estimator** to join our excellent construction crew.
**Responsibilities**:
**Project Analysis**:
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scope, requirements, and objectives.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify project details and ensure accurate estimation.
**Cost Assessment**:
- Conduct thorough analysis of project components including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor services, permits, and other relevant factors.
- Utilize historical data, industry benchmarks, and specialized software to determine accurate cost estimates.
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties that could impact project costs.
**Estimation Preparation**:
- Develop detailed and comprehensive cost estimates using appropriate estimating methodologies.
- Prepare accurate and well-structured quantity takeoffs for all relevant project elements.
- Present estimates in a clear and concise manner, including breakdowns of various cost components.
**Vendor and Supplier Communication**:
- Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing information for materials and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with industry contacts to stay up-to-date on market trends and pricing fluctuations.
**Bid Proposal Development**:
- Participate in the creation of bid proposals, ensuring all costs are accurately represented and competitive.
- Collaborate with the bid team to present a cohesive and compelling proposal that aligns with project requirements.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of estimation data, including assumptions, sources, and calculations.
- Generate and present reports that outline cost breakdowns and project-specific details to internal teams and stakeholders.
**Continuous Improvement**:
- Stay current with industry trends, construction methods, and materials to enhance estimation accuracy.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to the estimation process and tools.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Civil Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software and tools.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and address cost-related challenges.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.

Ability to commute/relocate:
