Our client, an established public sector organisation, is looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager with deep experience leading large, enterprise-scale IT implementations. This role will take ownership of complex platforms and projects involving multiple teams, legacy environments, and long delivery cycles. This is a 6- month contract with potential to extend, hybrid in Vancouver. What You’ll Do Lead end-to-end delivery of large technology projects — from planning through design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare Oversee project governance, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder alignment Work closely with senior leaders, architects, technical teams, business units, and vendors to keep delivery on track Manage complex environments that involve legacy systems, technical debt, and cross-functional dependencies Facilitate Steering Committees and executive updates, ensuring clear communication of risks, decisions, and impacts Drive readiness, operational change, and adoption across the organization as new platforms and processes roll out Provide leadership through challenging phases such as cutover planning, defect resolution, and deployment execution What You Bring 10+ years of IT Project Management experience, leading large-scale implementations Proven track record delivering enterprise technology platforms or systems end-to-end (not just coordination) Experience managing long-term, end-to-end projects with multi-million-dollar budgets and teams of 10+ Strong background working in complex IT environments with legacy systems and modernization efforts Demonstrated ownership of full project lifecycles: requirements → build → test → deploy → sustainment Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and executive communication skills Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment and simplify complexity for decision-makers Experience with governance frameworks, RAID logs, change requests, and executive reporting Some exposure to cybersecurity projects Apply today to get the conversation started.
