Technology Project Manager

Our client, an established public sector organisation, is looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager with deep experience leading large, enterprise-scale IT implementations. This role will take ownership of complex platforms and projects involving multiple teams, legacy environments, and long delivery cycles.This is a 6-month contract with potential to extend, hybrid in Vancouver.What You’ll DoLead end-to-end delivery of large technology projects — from planning through design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercareOversee project governance, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder alignmentWork closely with senior leaders, architects, technical teams, business units, and vendors to keep delivery on trackManage complex environments that involve legacy systems, technical debt, and cross-functional dependenciesFacilitate Steering Committees and executive updates, ensuring clear communication of risks, decisions, and impactsDrive readiness, operational change, and adoption across the organization as new platforms and processes roll outProvide leadership through challenging phases such as cutover planning, defect resolution, and deployment executionWhat You Bring10+ years of IT Project Management experience, leading large-scale implementationsProven track record delivering enterprise technology platforms or systems end-to-end (not just coordination)Experience managing long-term, end-to-end projects with multi-million-dollar budgets and teams of 10+Strong background working in complex IT environments with legacy systems and modernization effortsDemonstrated ownership of full project lifecycles: requirements → build → test → deploy → sustainmentExcellent stakeholder, vendor, and executive communication skillsAbility to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment and simplify complexity for decision-makersExperience with governance frameworks, RAID logs, change requests, and executive reportingSome exposure to cybersecurity projectsApply today to get the conversation started.
