Job Title: IT Business Analyst Start Date: December 8, 2025 End Date: March 8, 2026 Location: Burnaby, British Columbia (Hybrid 2 days Onsite) Role Overview Our client is seeking a Junior IT Business Analyst to support small to medium technology initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will gather, analyze, and document business requirements, produce high-quality project documentation, and collaborate closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and end-users. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and with quality. Key Responsibilities 1. Requirements Gathering & Documentation Collect, analyze, and document business requirements for small IT projects. Produce high-quality documentation including: Client governance documents Process maps and designs 2. Project Coordination & Support Liaise with internal teams and vendors regarding system interfaces and data migration. Provide ongoing support to development, UX, training, and testing teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements. Capture meeting outcomes, decisions, and action items in detailed meeting minutes. Assist Project Managers with planning and tracking project phases. Support Change Management leads with communications, training materials, stakeholder analysis, and rollout activities. 3. Testing & Validation Assist in preparing test documentation including: Test Plans Test Scenarios/Scripts Test Reports Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs. 4. Transition & Implementation Support Contribute to the smooth transition of deliverables to sustainment teams. Ensure all project artifacts are complete, accurate, and aligned with the client’s methodology. Required Experience Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in small to medium technology projects within a complex enterprise environment. Strong experience producing structured documentation and supporting project delivery. Familiarity with data migration, system interface requirements, and requirements management. Education & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Business , Engineering , or equivalent. Good understanding of business domains and how technology solutions support organizational objectives. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
