Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Winnipeg, MB (Onsite) Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite Duration: Initial 6-month term, renewable up to 24 months Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale technology transformation initiative. The successful candidate will analyze, document, and improve business processes, gather and validate requirements, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure technology initiatives align with organizational objectives. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who excels in stakeholder engagement, critical thinking, and translating business needs into actionable technical and process solutions. Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex business or public-sector environments. Minimum 5 years of experience in business process analysis and re-engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience writing detailed requirements, use cases, and user stories. Minimum 5 years of experience working in Agile environments. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with sound political acumen. Preferred Qualifications Certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or equivalent. Knowledge of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) . Prior experience supporting projects within the public sector . Work Environment & Conditions Primary Work Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba. Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM CST (7.25 hours per day).
