**Junior Business Analyst**

VineHR is supporting a progressive advisory and consulting firm for an Jr Business Analyst/Associate opportunity. They are an entrepreneurial, people-first organization that are at the forefront of innovative technology. **The Opportunity**
This is a great opportunity to work with organizations in various industries to grow your practical knowledge of business operations through:

- Document business processes using flowcharts and written process narratives
- Work with senior staff to assess the appropriateness of the business processes
- Perform procedures to validate that the business processes are operating as described and report any variations
- Work with senior staff to recommend improvements to processes where issues have been identified
- An opportunity to work on engaging projects within the organization as they arise
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, finance or similar with a minimum of 2 year of related work experience preferably in an accounting capacity.
- Working towards a recognized accounting designation, or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
- Proven analytical skills coupled with the ability to work in a self-driven yet collaborative environment.

**Compensation**: A base salary in the range of $55,000 - 70,000 per year depending on experience, bonus, generous vacation, a 4 day work week during slow season, extended benefits.

**Location**: This is a hybrid role with onsite location at their office downtown
