Senior Manager, Recovery and Resolution Planning Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 Line of Business: Finance Pay Range: $108,800 - $163,200 CAD Job Description The Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) department oversees TD’s non‑trading market risk, capital, investments, treasury trading activities, liquidity management, funding and transfer pricing. The Enterprise Recovery and Resolution Planning Office (ERRP) manages recovery and resolution planning for TD Bank, preparing strategic plan submissions to Canadian regulators and coordinating testing activities. ERRP works with local management teams in foreign jurisdictions and delivers TDBG’s financial crisis management activities during stress periods. Responsibilities Develop, manage and execute complex RRP strategies and assessments. Oversee and lead multiple RRP work streams, including liaison with stakeholders, briefings to senior management and production of associated reporting. Write well‑founded, formal and succinct plan content for TD’s Crisis Management Recovery Plan and the TD Resolution Plan, and develop presentations and reports for management, the Board, its committees and regulators. Interpret new regulatory guidance, operationalize it for relevant areas within the Bank and ensure regulatory expectations are met within owned work streams. Challenge RRP content in alignment with enterprise policies, guidelines, plans and standards. Represent ERRP on cross‑industry working groups and forums and participate in meetings with regulators. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts across the enterprise to address new regulatory requirements, identify and manage impacts of owned work streams on other program areas and the Bank. Lead the development and delivery of testing streams to support financial crisis management, recovery option viability and advance the resolvability of the Bank, including working with distinct capability owners and providing governance oversight for test delivery and regulatory documentation. Contribute to strong governance across ERRP deliverables and continuously improve all frameworks, policies, processes and procedures in the program. Provide timely updates and escalations to management to ensure deliverables are of appropriate quality, finalized on time and meet internal/external requirements, and that issues are identified, flagged and remediated promptly. Maintain knowledge of ERRP policy and guidelines, program guides and relevant desk procedures, applicable frameworks, programs and processes. Champion a strong culture of effective program delivery with appropriate controls and help the program operate within TD’s risk appetite. Provide technical expertise, general direction, quality control and subject‑matter expertise to the team. Mentor and functionally oversee more junior staff. Maintain positive working relationships within Treasury and Finance and with numerous business partners, stakeholders and contributors across the enterprise. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (finance or legal) preferred. 5+ years of related work experience. Positive self‑starter, able to consistently deliver with limited supervision in a high‑paced regulatory environment. Proactive and highly motivated, able to take initiative, manage a portfolio of responsibilities, organize, and handle unstructured activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft plan content, synthesize complex data and numbers into clear, compelling stories for technical and non‑technical audiences. Strong oral presentation skills for diverse audiences of small‑to‑medium size, including regulators and executives. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to analyze and prioritize multiple competing priorities with high attention to quality, detail and deadlines. Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills. Acts with integrity and handles confidential and privileged information. Influences outside of their chain of command with strong relationship‑management skills. Provides exceptional customer service to colleagues, management and stakeholders. In‑depth treasury, financial, or accounting knowledge, particularly as it pertains to liquidity, capital management, funding activities, mergers and acquisitions, asset‑liability management or accounting, and recovery and resolution functions, would be significant assets. Experience compiling or reviewing legal and/or regulatory submissions and interpreting policies and regulations would be a significant asset. Program and/or policy development skills would be considered significant assets. Past experience managing programs, projects or deliverables of parallel complexity in a major financial institution would be an asset. Work Activities and Conditions Work activities include a blend of highly collaborative activities and individual deliverables. Individuals are expected to be onsite 4 days a week effective 3 Nov 2025; colleagues may attend more or fewer days in the office as required by the business line.
