Overview The DevOps Manager will lead a team of engineers to deliver cloud platform‑based projects, optimize infrastructure, streamline deployments, and manage costs effectively. This role requires a strategic leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for operational excellence. Location: Greater Toronto Area, ON (Hybrid) Status: Contract Responsibilities Lead and mentor the DevOps team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives Oversee project intake, prioritization, and delivery across AWS and GCP environments Ensure stability and quick resolution of issues across multiple environments (development, test, staging, production) Partner with finance teams to plan cloud spend and implement cost optimization strategies Define KPIs and provide regular operational health reports to leadership Qualifications, Skills & Experience Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, GCP, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform preferred), and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization Nice To Have Experience in multi‑cloud strategy and governance Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills About Adastra For more than 25 years, Adastra Corporation has been hyper‑focused on data and the infrastructures to support it.
